Guide Dragodindes Dofus

Updated on 14/03/2026

Full gameplay-oriented version: key numbers, capture protocol, XP, recycling, and interactive bonus & crossbreeding tree tool.

Quick summary

  • Total count: 66 breedable Dragodindes + 2 specials (non-breedable).
  • Breeding entry: 3 wild generation 1 mounts (Amande, Dorée, Rousse).
  • Equipment level: minimum level 60 to ride a Dragodinde.
  • Progression: level 1 to 200, with slower leveling past 100.

I. Dragoturkey overview

I.A Overview

Dragodindes are mounts you can capture and breed. They all share a base Vitality bonus, then add secondary stats depending on their color. A single-color mount generally gives a stronger secondary stat than an equivalent two-color one.

Possible Dragodinde stats include: Vitality, Initiative, Summons, Heals, Power, Agility, Chance, Strength, Intelligence, Prospecting, Critical, Range, Resistance and Reflect depending on the variant.

Key info: there are 66 breedable Dragodindes, plus 2 special ones (Armure and à Plumes) that can be purchased but not bred.

I.B Where to find them?

In the wild, only generation 1 Dragodindes can be captured: Amande, Dorée and Rousse. They’re found in the Territoire des dragodindes sauvages, in the Montagne des Koalaks (easy access via the Village des Éleveurs at [-16,1]).

I.C Combat data

Wild Dragodindes are fairly easy for a properly geared character: level range 62 to 70 with around 900 HP max. They can remove buffs and have support/pressure spells depending on the variant.

Wild typeNotable offensive spellUseful detail
AmandeDindobouleBuff removal + ~120 Earth damage in melee
RousseDindofeuBuff removal + ~120 Fire damage, short range
DoréeDindoneauBuff removal + ~120 Water damage

I.D Quick breeding info

  • Up to 6 paddocks, 10 slots per paddock, depending on your breeder profession level.
  • Gauge leveling via paddock fuel: aggressiveness, serenity, stamina, maturity, love and XP.
  • Breeding is only possible when both parents are fertile.
  • Maturity, stamina and love gauges must all be maxed to mate.
  • After breeding, the mount becomes sterile; standard birth: 1 baby (2 with Reproducteur).

Useful Makina abilities: Amoureuse (love x2), Endurante (stamina x2), Précoce (maturity x2), Sage (XP x2), Reproducteur (+1 baby), Caméléone via Kromakina.

II. Capturing Dragoturkeys

II.A Required capture gear

Capturing relies on a Dragodinde net equipped as a combat consumable. There are 4 net types, each tied to a breeder profession tier. You can only equip a net if your profession level meets the required tier.

NetBreeder levelEffect
Universel1+Captures a targeted mount
Multiplicateur100+Capture + duplication
Renforcé150+AoE capture (circle radius 3)
Multiplicateur renforcé200AoE radius 3 + duplication

Important note: the Universel net is the most basic (simple capture). The higher the net level, the better the capture yield, up to AoE capture with duplication.

II.B Capture spell & net differences

When a net is equipped, you get the temporary spell "Apprivoisement de monture". The visual is the same, but the applied effect depends directly on the net used.

  • Universel: captures the selected target.
  • Multiplicateur: capture + duplicates the target.
  • Renforcé: AoE capture (circle radius 3).
  • Multiplicateur renforcé: AoE capture + duplication.
Duplications don’t guarantee the same gender: the color is kept, but the sex may differ.

II.C Capture state in combat

  • After casting the spell, the targeted mount(s) receive a capture state.
  • This state has no duration: you can finish the fight at your own pace, the capture stays locked in.
  • In a group, another player can only capture mounts that don’t already have the state.
  • The same mount can’t be captured by multiple characters in the same fight.

After capture, mounts arrive at level 1. They’re equippable right away (if your character level is high enough), but optimizing bonuses requires leveling them up in the paddock.

III. Dragoturkey XP

III.A XP principles

A Dragodinde can level from 1 to 200. Progression is fast up to level 100, then significantly slower from 101 to 200 (optimization phase).

In 3.5, mount XP is done in the paddock: the feeding trough gauge is the main way to level up.

III.B Key numbers

MilestoneValue
Required level to equip60
Cumulative XP at level 100172 668
Cumulative XP at level 200867 582
XP 200 / XP 100 ratio> 5×

For long-term optimization, the 100→200 phase is the most time-consuming part, which is why well-filled feeding trough cycles and matching abilities matter.

IV. Dragoturkey recycling

IV.A Principles & statuses

During breeding, mounts follow the cycle Fertile → Féconde → Sterile. A sterile mount can no longer breed. Senile mounts (from before 3.5) are also no longer breedable.

Recycling helps avoid cluttering your breeding stock when secondary lines become useless. Two methods coexist: extraction (1 mount → resources) and cloning (2 mounts → 1 fertile).

Both methods can be used from the paddock and also work on mounts that are still fertile/féconde if you want to speed up herd trimming.

IV.B Dragodinde extraction

  • Converts the mount into a resource (Dragodinde neurons).
  • Generation 2+ mounts yield a number of resources equal to their generation.
  • Senile mounts yield 1 resource regardless of generation.

Key rule: a generation 2 gives 2 neurons, a generation 3 gives 3 neurons, etc. Generation 1 mounts can’t be extracted normally, except senile ones (1 resource).

IV.B Dragoturkey cloning

  • Requires 2 mounts of the same generation.
  • Destroys both input mounts.
  • Produces an equivalent fertile mount with gauges reset to zero.
  • Any abilities are not carried over.

Cloning is mainly useful for recycling non-strategic duplicates while keeping an active fertile line in your crossbreeding plan.

Real experience report (Dragodindes)

Server week from March 17 to 23, 2026 : for me, profit ranged between 350,000 and 920,000 kamas depending on the target generation and the quality of breeder sorting.

What didn't work for me : starting matings without a fertile reserve. I broke useful branches and lost rebuild time.

What worked for me : keeping duplicates on pivot mounts, planning the generation route over 2–3 cycles, then selling surplus at the right tier.

VI. Dragoturkey FAQ

Q1: Which Dragodindes can you capture at the start?

A1: The three generation 1 mounts: Amande, Dorée and Rousse.

Q2: What level do you need to ride a Dragodinde?

A2: Your character must be at least level 60.

Q3: Which net is the most efficient for captures?

A3: The Multiplicateur renforcé net (level 200), since it combines AoE and duplication.

Q4: How do you make a Dragodinde ready to mate?

A4: By maxing the maturity, stamina and love gauges for both parents.

Q5: What’s the difference between extraction and cloning?

A5: Extraction destroys the mount for resources; cloning destroys two mounts to recreate a fertile one.

Q6: Can special mounts breed?

A6: No, special variants are not breedable.
