XP in Dofus
There are tons of ways to earn XP and hit level 200. This guide sums up the most efficient options and gives tips by level bracket.

Level brackets (1 to 200)
Quick start
Prioritize Astrub quests, easy achievements, and small dungeons. Goal: level fast with simple gear.
Optimize your rotations
Mix of dungeon achievements, farming accessible zones, and first big XP multipliers.
XP + kamas synergy
Start targeting profitable zones with anomaly bonuses and plan your gear goals.
Final acceleration
Slower without bonuses: maximize anomalies, Almanax XP, and PL options based on your budget.
XP & Time Anomalies
The game has zone bonuses (DROP & XP) that change dynamically based on time and day. Each zone eventually reaches 120% for a short window, giving an XP multiplier of 2.2.
Optimizing your farm under 120%
Prioritize Challenges
Since the removal of idols, challenges are your Mayn XP lever. A completed challenge under a 120% zone bonus makes your gains massive since the bonuses stack.
Fight speed
The bonus is temporary. Focus on chaining small, quick mob groups (starred groups) rather than long 10-minute fights.
| Goal | Action recommended |
|---|---|
| XP Pure | Focus small groups + Challenges. |
| Drop / Kamas | Optimize Prospecting & stack Almanax bonuses. |
XP gear
Generally, you want to balance wisdom and combat efficiency. The leveling builds on the site always offer a mix of stats and wisdom.
If you’re looking for pure wisdom gear, here are the best setups:
Power Leveling (PL XP)
For those who want to blast through levels in exchange for some kamas, PL is still the ultimate solution. Here are the most popular methods on Unity:
🚀 Dimension PL (Ecaflipus, Enutrosor...)
Currently the best value for money. By chaining fights against specific mob
groups (Phossile, Nidas, XLII), you benefit from the generous XP of divine dimensions.
Tip: Stock up on keys beforehand so you don’t break the carrier’s rhythm.
🏟️ Arena PL (Bonta / Brakmar)
The “comfort” method. No need to travel to any zone — the carrier runs boss captures or
XP-heavy mobs directly in the arena.
It’s pricier since the capture cost is often passed on, but the time savings are unbeatable.
🌲 HL/THL Zone PL
Less common but very effective for loot on the side. A mercenary takes you straight to their
usual
farm spots.
Note: Payment can sometimes be negotiated through resources collected during fights (“Full
Drop”).

Economic context in 2026
Players who optimize their XP often invest in wisdom gear and consumables. This causes prices to fluctuate depending on server rushes, Unity updates, and Almanax events.
To keep a healthy budget, alternate between pure XP and profitable farming to fund your sets and progression.
Pro tips
In my routine, I save zone quests to break through XP plateaus and I stack anomalies with Almanax when bonuses line up. I don't go full wisdom if fights become too long — speed is the priority. I prefer short but regular sessions with a route sheet per level bracket.
Real experience report (XP 1-200)
Server week from March 17 to 23, 2026: during my sessions, XP yield ranged between 3.2M and 6.1M XP/hour depending on level, active bonuses, and rotation stability.
What didn't work for me: switching zones too often and scattering the session. Out-of-combat time skyrocketed.
What worked for me: locking in 30 to 45-minute cycles per zone, then chaining a short eco block to fund the next push.
Concrete weekly plan (solo profile)
To stop "farming randomly", here's a simple 7-day structure. The idea isn't to do everything, but to keep a steady pace that limits burnout and wasted time.
| Day | Main block | Goal | Recommended duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Pending quests/achievements | Unlock guaranteed XP | 60 to 90 min |
| Tuesday | Quick anomaly farm | Fast raw XP | 45 to 75 min |
| Wednesday | Easy dungeons + achievements | XP + resources | 90 min |
| Thursday | Economy session | Fund consumables/keys | 45 to 60 min |
| Friday | Anomalies + challenge | Weekly XP peak | 60 to 90 min |
| Weekend | Occasional PL or optimized duo | Catch up to a milestone | 1 to 2 sessions |
Common mistakes that really slow you down
1) Switching zones every 10 minutes
Most XP losses come from out-of-combat time: travel, selling, hesitation. Stick to rotations of 30 to 45 minutes minimum before changing.
2) Going full wisdom with fights that are too long
A short fight with less wisdom often gives better hourly XP than a long "full sasa" fight. Aim for speed first.
3) Forgetting secondary goals
Hitting 200 with no resources or kamas creates a wall at endgame. Always keep a mini eco goal (resources, crafts, sales) going during the climb.
Sample 90-minute session (level 120-150)
A tested routine to Mayntain a good XP/time ratio without depending on a single spot:
- 10 min: prep (keys, bread, travel, check active bonuses).
- 35 min: anomaly farm on quick-to-clear groups.
- 25 min: targeted dungeon/achievement with a doable challenge.
- 10 min: quick sort and sell useful resources.
- 10 min: plan next session (zone, goal, budget).
This approach avoids "empty" sessions and improves progression over time, even with limited daily playtime.
FAQ
Q1: Should you do the Almanax every day?
A1: Not necessarily, but days with XP bonuses are usually worth it.
Q2: Is wisdom always the priority?
A2: No. Good fight speed often gives more XP than stacking extra wisdom.
Q3: Is PL worth it?
A3: Yes, if you have a comfortable budget or if saving time is your Mayn goal.
Q4: Which XP zones are the most consistent?
A4: Zones with recurring anomalies and easily accessible dungeons are the most reliable.
Overall analysis
XP 1-200 requires a mix of optimization and consistency. Players who plan their level brackets, alternate farming and quests, and exploit temporary bonuses level faster without hitting walls.
